BRIDGWATER NEWS: Dampiet Street car park partially reopens
THE Dampiet Street car park in Bridgwater has been partially re-opened following a police investigation into a murder.
Sedgemoor District Council announced on Tuesday (October 23, 2018) that some spaces remained “out of bounds” but added that the car park was back operational.
A council spokesman said: “Customers can now use the car park, but are requested to avoid the coned off spaces until such as time as the car park is fully back in use.”
A man was discovered with serious injuries at about 12.30pm on Saturday (October 20, 2018) at an address in George Street and was treated by paramedics including from air ambulance but was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
