SCHOOL NEWS: Trystan and Phoebe selected for Student Senate at Haygrove
HAYGROVE School students Trystan Hudson and Phoebe Weater have been congratulated on being selected for the Bridgwater school’s Student Senate.
The Student Senate is made up of one boy and one girl from each year group. Their role is to gather suggestions and opinions from students in their year in order to improve the school when they take those suggestions to the headteacher for approval.
Previous actions have included the useful addition of coat/bag hooks on toilet doors.
Becoming part of the Student Senate requires students to fill out an application form and take part in an interview with existing Student Senate members.
As well as Trystan and Phoebe from Year Seven, the Student Senate also includes Maisey Pope, Josh Watts, Moffi Fagbohun, Rob Williams, Ruben Marshall, Manon Wilson, Abi Newton and Callum Pope.
