BRIDGWATER children took their musical festive production - A Wriggly Nativity - to residents of a local nursing home.

Children at Northgate Primary School went to Avalon Nursing Home nearby to sing a collection of songs from the play.

They also sung some traditional Christmas songs such as Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, We Wish You a Merry Christmas and Jingle Bells, that all went down a treat.

The school, run by the inspirational Clevedon Learning Trust (CLT), is located in a new £6 million building and has extensive state-of-the-art facilities, giant Smart TVs, dance studios, breakfast club and after-school provision.

Executive headteacher Heather Good said: “The residents thoroughly enjoyed themselves and so did all the children. It was a fantastic time.”
