LEISURE: Festive fun at the Angel Place Shopping Centre

THE Angel Place Shopping Centre in Bridgwater is now well and truly into the festive season – even more so now that Father Christmas has arrived on the scene.

His charity grotto opened for business last weekend and the main man himself will be back there again this Saturday and Sunday (December 9-10, 2017) and the following weekend on December 16-17, 2017, and then from December 18 through to December 23, 2017.

Santa will be there on each day from 11am to 3pm and children will be able to meet with him for £2.50 and receive a gift.

All funds raised from the grotto will be split between two charities – Marie Curie and Elliot’s Touch.

The grotto did not open last Sunday (December 3, 2017) due to unforeseen circumstances – but everything should be back to normal this coming weekend.

To coincide with the opening of the festive grotto, there were plenty of other Christmas-inspired stalls in the shopping centre, while there was seasonal music being played in the Cornhill.
