CARNIVAL 2017: The all-important route for Bridgwater Carnival and what time the parade should reach you
THOUSANDS of people will be lining the streets on Saturday (November 4, 2017) for the annual cavalcade of light, colour and sound – Bridgwater Carnival.
The procession of more than 100 entries will leave Parkway at 7pm and move into Bath Road and then reach the Cross Rifles Roundabout where it will move into Monmouth Street and Broadway before they reach a “rest area” in the second-half of Broadway before moving into St Mary Street and going round into the Cornhill in the heart of the town centre.
The cavalcade will then move into Penel Orlieu and Mount Street before the Carnival reaches the end of its journey.
There will be a smaller Pre-Carnival Procession from 6.30pm leaving from the start point in Bath Road.
The famous Squibbing Display will take place – approximately – at about 10.45pm in the High Street.
