CARNIVAL 2017: Extra trains stopping at Bridgwater for the Carnival

GREAT Western Railway has announced that it will be making extra stops at Bridgwater on Saturday (November 4, 2017) for visitors wanting to watch the Carnival and then get home again after the parade.

The 4.33pm service from Paddington to Paignton will call additionally at Bridgwater to set down only at 6.53pm.

Then following the Carnival the 9.30pm Taunton to Paddington service will call additionally at Bridgwater to pick-up only at 9.42pm.

It has been highlighted that this service then calls at Weston-super-Mare, Bristol Temple Meads and stations to Paddington, while customers for local stations to Weston and Bristol should wait and join the 9.47pm train departure to Bristol Temple Meads.

And the 8.31pm Paddington to Exeter service will call to pick up and set down at Bridgwater at 11.06pm (this is normally to set down only).
