BRIDGWATER NEWS: Vandals attack Bridgwater Cricket Club

BRIDGWATER Cricket Club has been left frustrated after mindless vandals caused damage at the club.

A club spokesman announced on Saturday (October 21, 2017) evening that they had suffered some “mindless vandalism at the ground” at The Parks off Durleigh Road.

“Please can our members, playing members and neighbours keep an eye out for people in and around the ground looking suspicious,” said the spokesman.

“This is hugely frustrating and needless.”

The vandals have caused damage to the groundsman’s shed and doors, plastic seating has been vandalised and the club’s flag pole has also been attacked.

Anyone with information can contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111 or contact a club member.
