FOOTBALL: We’re lovin’ it! McDonald’s becomes new shirt sponsor at Bridgwater Town
BRIDGWATER Town FC has announced the signing of a new kit sponsorship agreement with McDonalds Somerset.
The McDonalds Somerset branding will appear on the front of the new home and away strips for the upcoming season in the Premier Division of the Toolstation Western League.
Tim Lamb, managing director of McDonalds Somerset, said: “I am proud and privileged to support Bridgwater Town as they embark on the process of rebuilding the fortunes of the club in the Toolstation Western League.
“I have been involved at grassroots football for many years and look forward very much to working closely with all involved.”
Bridgwater Town’s vice chairman, Bob Buckingham, added: “This highlights the progress the club are making in teaming up with a major worldwide brand in McDonalds.
“Tim’s support of local grassroots football is both long-standing and extensive. We are extremely pleased to have secured his support in the exciting season that lies ahead.”
Mr Buckingham added: “I would also like to take this opportunity extend our sincere thanks to Clearview Windows who will continue their involvement with the club as kit sponsors of our reserve team in the Somerset County League Premier Division.”
